Project Description: WOW Global evaluated the Healthcare IT requirements of Regional Cardiovascular and Medical Center. After a thorough analysis, WOW Global recommended the robust Allscripts Professional Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solution along with a fax server which best fit the current and future requirements. WOW Global also provided integration with the Medical Billing Management Services Practice Management and hospital lab systems. WOW Global Healthcare IT professionals provided training, implementation, hardware and interface support prior to go-live. Coordination among Allscripts, Regional Cardiovascular, Medical Billing Management Services (their billing company) and the hospital was managed by WOW Global personnel.

Results: The office staff, assistants, and physicians are currently utilizing and benefiting from using the EMR. WOW Global continues to provide technical, interface and product support. WOW Global is also assisting with the improvement of the efficiency and effective use of the new systems.

Project Description: WOW Global implemented a network infrastructure solution that provided the doctor and staff with network scanning capabilities and internet coverage via a wireless router. WOW Global performed a full network analysis, installed practice personal computers and implemented tablet PCs using a secure, encrypted environment. WOW Global configured and tested all equipment, tested wireless availability in all areas of the office, installed equipment and trained staff.

Results: The practice has a secure wireless solution for accessing health information and a robust scanning solution. WOW Global continues to provide networking and technical support.

Project Description: WOW Global interfaced the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system with Practice Management (PM) system to enable the practice to outsource the billing function provided by Medical Billing Management Services. The solution implemented uses a secure connection and interface between systems.

Results: The medical practice transmits clinical data and super bills directly into the practice management software utilized by Medical Billing Management Services (the billing company). As a result, the practice has experienced an increase in revenue due to accurate claim submission and a faster turnaround time for claim processing.

Project Description: : WOW Global enhanced the claims review and re-pricing software. Insurance claims were reviewed, the appropriate data entry, processing and panel development of the physicians was completed. Claims were scanned and transferred to the WOW Global Delivery Center via Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) before being indexed and stored on the client’s site. Demographic data and claims were entered into the client’s web-based system.

Results: The customer experienced an increase in quality while reducing the per claim costs.

Project Description: WOW Global developed a customized and flexible medical transcription solution that included HIPAA-compliant Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), automated upload of audio files and automated download of transcripts to the client’s server. Additionally, WOW Global’s solution assures quality with a triple-level audit process before transcripts are released to the client. WOW Global’s team consists of highly experienced medical transcriptionists, quality analysts and managers to oversee the daily production quality as well as provide customer support.

Results: MClient experienced an increase in the accuracy of transcripts and a reduction in turnaround time.
